Many Shallow Pools

Illustrated Short Story Collection

Ever since I learned to write, I authored and illustrated books. They featured unusual characters and elaborate landscapes, from a paper bag and Lego villain in fifth grade to a full chapter book with knights, magic, and massive chickens with see-through skin in eighth grade. Although perhaps frivolous to make this my career, I stuck with what I loved and have finally added the most recent book to my collection, the result of four years developing my voice and art style. Within there are five ‘shallow pools’ to jump into, much like C.S. Lewis’s Wood between the Worlds, each bottomless and a world of their own. I hope that you will find connection and mystery between the pages.
